General Practitioner & Co-founder

Born and raised in Tulbagh, Dr. Chellan brings a patient-centred approach shaped by rural medicine. He gained extensive paediatric training at Frere Tertiary Hospital and practises as an HIV clinician with expertise in antiretroviral therapy, treatment failure, and drug resistance. His clinical scope spans children's health, HIV, mental health, chronic disease, and men's health.

One of the few female GPs in George offering dedicated women's health care, Dr. Lakay specialises in cervical cancer screening, IUD procedures, contraception management, hormonal health assessment (PCOS, menopause), antenatal and postnatal care, and STI screening.
