NeoHealth was founded by Dr. Ethan Chellan and Dr. Claudia Lakay — two Stellenbosch University graduates who share a vision: that every patient in George, and beyond, deserves modern, compassionate, and accessible healthcare.
Together they bring expertise across paediatrics, HIV management, women's health, mental health, occupational health, and telemedicine. Their complementary skills mean NeoHealth can care for the whole family, from newborns to seniors.

Meet Our Doctors
Two co-founders. One shared mission: healthcare that evolves with you.
Born and raised in Tulbagh, Dr. Chellan brings a patient-centred approach shaped by rural medicine. He gained extensive paediatric training at Frere Tertiary Hospital and practises as an HIV clinician with expertise in antiretroviral therapy, treatment failure, and drug resistance. His clinical scope spans children's health, HIV, mental health, chronic disease, and men's health.

Dr. Claudia Lakay
General Practitioner & Co-founder
MBChB (Stellenbosch University)
One of the few female GPs in George offering dedicated women's health care, Dr. Lakay specialises in cervical cancer screening, IUD procedures, contraception management, hormonal health assessment (PCOS, menopause), antenatal and postnatal care, and STI screening. She also has keen interests in minor procedures, wound care, and aesthetic medicine.
